li Akdeniz has been one of the first line producers in Turkey with his famous production company “Panfilm” to offer foreign productions local facilities and services as location scouting, equipment rental, crew and permits. Among his numerous successful projects line production of “Armageddon”, “James Bond – The World Is Not Enough”, Fatih Akın’s “Head On”, which won Berlin Film Festival’s first prize, Jackie Chan film “Accidental Spy”, as producer of Oğuzhan Tercan’s “Robbery ala Turca”, Derviş Zaim’s “Elephants and the Grass” and many TV films or documentaries can be mentioned.

Lastly, in his new company Anka Film, produced Fatih Akın’s “The Edge of Heaven” which won Best Script and Ecumenical Jury Price in Cannes 2007, together with his partners Funda Ödemiş, Erhan Özoğul and the producers Andreas Thiel, Klaus Maeck and Fatih Akın.

Erhan Özoğul has been active since late 90’s in the production scene of Turkey. Beginning as a freelancer in commercials, he continued in line productions of foreign projects at the size of James Bond, Accidental Spy or Empire of the Wolfs. He worked as account manager in Fatih Akın’s “Head On”, winner of Berlin Film Festival’s first prize.

He subsequently became the producer to Fatih Akın’s last film “The Edge of Heaven” in his own production house together with his partners Funda Ödemiş, Ali Akdeniz and the producers Andreas Thiel, Klaus Maeck and Fatih Akın.

Funda Ödemiş has worked extensively since 90’s in production management of independent and studio productions coming to Turkey in search of crew and location. Starting her career in commercial companies, she continued successfully as production manager, location manager of many British documentaries among which can be cited: Wall to Wall Prod.’s series: “Who Do You Think You Are”, Discovery Channel’s “Mystery Hunters”, “6 degrees - Istanbul” BBC’s “Buildings in the name of God”, “Survivor-boy in the cave”, “Inventing the Past-Chariots”; BBC’s “World Wars”, “St. Paul & Revelations”. She has also headed the production of many important features as Turkish box office hit Yılmaz Erdoğan’s “Magic Carpet Ride”, Oğuzhan Tercan’s “Robbery ala Turca”, Fatih Akın’s “Head On”.

She has recently launched her new production house, Anka Film in which she produced Fatih Akın’s last film “The Edge of Heaven” together with her partners Erhan Özoğul, Ali Akdeniz and the producers Andreas Thiel, Klaus Maeck and Fatih Akın
